In my professional career, I’ve founded or co-founded several companies in the waste management industry. I’ve been responsible for operations, sales, finance, strategy, culture, growth, public relations, marketing, and IT. Together, these businesses generated more than $500 million in combined revenue and sold for more than $180 million.
I’ve bootstrapped and worked with private equity. I’ve experienced and navigated through rocky partnerships, aggressive competition, fires, regulators, indictments, negative press, deaths, and just about every human relations issue.

More than anything, I know what it feels like to be an entrepreneur and a leader. I other words, I know what it’s like to be you.
I’m familiar with the pressure and the demands. The wins and the losses. The opportunities and the challenges. The uncertainty and the frustration. I know what it feels like to be lost, stuck, afraid, and uncertain. To know that there is more, but not being sure that I have what it takes to get it.
I’ve been in what I call the Valley of Uncertainty. The place that Entrepreneurs, CEOs, and leaders of all kinds drop into when they’ve run out of the ideas, energy, willpower, support, and confidence to keep mover forward. It’s a place that many of us go to expire, turn back, wander, wonder, think about getting small, or just plain give up.
Finally, I also have a lot of exposure to companies I haven’t started or worked in. That’s helped me understand that no matter what the company, or the industry, most leaders face similar challenges. I’ve invested directly in more than 100 private companies [start-up, early stage, and mature stages] along with venture and private equity funds.
I understand what it takes to achieve the success you desire.
Using my 30+ years of entrepreneurial and leadership experience, I excel at identifying, inspiring, and activating the greatness that is already inside each client. My experience helps me to see, recognize, and reveal the things that the client may be missing.
My Mission is to help 1000 entrepreneurs create companies valued at more than $20M each. Then I want them to pass along how they did it and help at least 10 others each do the same thing. When I’m successful with that, more than 10,000 entrepreneurs will have created $200B in total enterprise value for the world.
Being an entrepreneur is hard. Being a successful one is a long shot. The stress makes you feel like you’re fighting everything at once. Regulations. Red tape. Employees, vendors, and customers. Even family and friends, sometimes.
On top of all that, there is you.
All too often, entrepreneurs become their own worst enemies, designing systems that keep them stuck without even realizing it. When that happens, it’s easy to blame the lack of progress on other people. They’re not helping you. They’re the problem.
I know this because I’ve had my own journey through the excitement, pain, grit, and mistakes. I’ve been stuck and broken. I know what it’s like to be there. I know that it sucks and feels like a trap from which you can’t break free.
I also know that you can break free. I know what it takes to get past all that. I know how to Break Through. I can show you how to take back your power and claim the future you want.
Typically, my ideal client has had success but has fallen into the Valley of Uncertainty.
It’s a place where progress stops and uncertainty reigns. There are many ways to get there. Some people get there due to stress, overworking and unpleasant circumstances. Others because of lack of focus, boredom, laziness, confusion, Pareto Principle, substance abuses, infidelity, shame, actual or fear of loss, imposter syndrome, etc.
In my experience, nearly every Founder, Entrepreneur and CEO finds their way into the Valley of Uncertainty at one time – or many times along their journey.
Some fall in and crawl themselves out repeatedly. That cycle is dangerous and energy-sucking.
Others fall in and stay put. That’s a lonely and unpleasant existence that can often lead these folks to prematurely expire as leaders.
