In part 2, Mike and Peg talk about her tumultuous and triumphant journey after becoming Co-Owner of the Empire Level Corporation, including her marriage, re-evaluation of her life, the title of her book, and how she became committed to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
If you missed part 1 (episode 55), Peg shared growing up with modest means, Peg started working early and held a multitude of jobs before graduating from high school. After having her first child, she got her first big break, a third shift manufacturing job that provided her the means to support her family. She advanced quickly and was always willing to say “yes” to any new opportunity or position that came here way. Her hard work paid off when she and her husband were provided the opportunity to purchase first a part, and later the rest, of the Empire Level Manufacturing Co. She talks extensively about that journey.
