Phil Nadel is the Founder and Managing Director of Forefront Ventures, one of the largest start-up investment syndicates on AngelList.  He is also a star on the Gimlet Podcast ‘The Pitch’, (Also listen to “The Pitch” on Spotify). Phil is a graduate of Saint Andrew’s School and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, the only college to which he applied.   He grew up in an entrepreneurial home.  As the son of a wildly successful ‘rags-to-riches’ Dad, Phil was programmed from a young age to be an entrepreneur and started his first businesses in high school, stringing rackets for his teammates on the tennis team and cleaning pool screen enclosures.

Mike and Phil cover a ton of great stuff in this episode, including how he describes his one super power, how he and his Dad partnered together to start, grow and sell a number of successful businesses, how, and why, he became interested in Venture Capital and how he’s leveraging himself, and helping to democratize the start-up investing process through his syndicate on AngelList.
